PLAYFUL PLAY SPACE MANAGEMENT Torshov
PLAY ENVIRONMENT
STICKS, TWIGS & SNOW IN TORSHOVPARKEN

As part of a playground transformation project in Torshovparken, Oslo, in March 2024, we introduced branches and twigs into the playground as play materials. These green leftovers, sourced from park maintenance in Kampen, will be evaluated for their suitability in play. Our broader aim is to develop a more playful and sustainable management approach at the playground in collaboration with the local municipality.

Together with class 5A from Nordpolen School, we hosted a den-building workshop to inspire other children to continue creating and engaging with the materials.

Thanks to Sagene bydel, Braathen and Nordpolen skole for collaboration.

The project is made possible through funding by Sparebankstiftelsen DNB in Norway.
